You can talk to Maya at any time from the Kolmena sidebar. Every conversation is saved to your chat history so you can resume, organize, or clean up past threads without losing context.

Start a New Chat

1

Open the sidebar

Click the sidebar toggle or press the keyboard shortcut to open the left panel.
2

Click Talk to Maya

Select Talk to Maya to jump into your main chat, or click New Chat to start a fresh thread.
3

Send your message

Type in the composer and press Enter, or use the voice button to speak instead of typing.

Manage Chat History

Your chat history lives in the sidebar under Chats. You can organize it to keep important conversations within reach. You can also group chats by date or by agent and swarm, and sort them by recent activity, creation date, name, or a manual order you define.

Attach Files

You can attach files to any message so Maya or your agents can read, analyze, or transform them.
1

Open the attachment picker

Click the attachment button in the message composer, or drag and drop a file directly into the chat.
2

Select the file

Choose documents, images, spreadsheets, or other supported files. You can also tag knowledge files from your library.
3

Send

Add an optional message and send. The agent will reference the attachment in its reply.
You can open an attachment in a new tab, download it, or view dashboards directly from the chat thread.

Use Voice Mode

Voice mode lets you talk to Maya hands-free. The spoken turns appear in the chat thread as ordinary messages, so the conversation stays readable and searchable.
1

Tap the voice button

In the composer, tap the microphone or voice icon to start a voice session.
2

Speak naturally

Talk to Maya as you would in a normal conversation. Your speech is transcribed and sent as a message.
3

End the call

Tap the hang-up button or close the chat to end the voice session.
Voice mode requires a supported browser and microphone access. If the voice button is unavailable, check your browser permissions.
